  • How do I apply to Bloom Services?

    You can apply on our website, or call us at 630-504-6126.

  • What are Bloom's driver requirements?

    We have three requirements. We require: 

    - two years of Class A CDL OTR experience

    - you have to be able to go to all 48 states,

    - be able to be on the road for at least three weeks at a time.


    We do not accept drivers with SAP history.


    We do allow some MVR violations.  If you have a few violations, we have to run a MVR report before you can join the team.

  • Can I choose my own loads?

    No, our dispatchers are in charge of booking all loads. When there are few loads, dispatch will ask where you would like to go. But there are times when experienced dispatchers make split second decision to book the load. In that case, you can’t refuse it. If we keep canceling, brokers would put us on do not load list.

  • What trucks does Bloom use?

    Our trucks are 2022-2025 Freightliner Cascadias. We have a few VOLVO 860s.  You cannot choose the truck you drive - they will be assigned depending on availability.


    All of our trucks are automatic.

  • Do you provide fuel cards?

    We provide two fuel cards, Comtada and EFS, so you can get fuel anywhere fuel is available.

  • How much can I earn weekly & annually?

    You will make $3,000 or more a week after all deductions.  You can make $120,000 to $160,000 a year.

  • What are the deductions?

    Out of your settlement we deduct, fuel, tolls, def, ifta, truck rent, and truck and trailer PHD. PHD is zero deductible insurance, that covers any damages regardless of who is at fault.

  • Do I need an LLC and business bank account?

    In order to work with us you have to open an LLC or a corporation. We can assist you with this if needed.


    You also need a business bank account. If we would transfer funds from your business account to your private account it would bounce. You are going to need your business account, SS4 and those kind of things.

  • When are funds transferred to my account?

    Funds are released on Fridays and will be visible in your account next business day, meaning Mondays.


    We do offer cash advances.

  • Do you share rate cons with drivers?

    We don’t share the the rate cons, but you will know how much the load pays and the miles. The actual rate cons are available after they are paid.

  • What are your trucks equipped with?

    Our trucks are equipped with powerful EPU units.  So you do not need to idle the truck and burn precious fuel. They are also equipped with powerful inverters, a fridge, and we use Master ELD.

  • What is Bloom's hiring/orientation process?

    First we run your MVR, and pull a PSP and DAC, then we schedule a drug test. If everything looks good, we'll bring you in for orientation.


    Orientation, located in Chicago, IL, usually takes a few hours.  We provide travel accomodation and transportation - we reimburse for your flight, but pay for your hotel, and an uber from the airport to the hotel for orientation. 


  • Are there any states that you do not hire from?

    We hire out of 46 or the Continental United States. Excluding California and New Jersey.

  • Which states do you drive in?

    We cover all 48 continental states, exluding New York City.

  • Do you allow riders and pets?

    Yes, we allow pets, but riders will require special permission and are not allowed during the first twelve weeks.

  • Do you offer W2 positions?

    No, we only offer 1099.

  • Do you provide TripPak envelopes?

    Yes, one TripPak envelope is prepaid each week, if you need more you can pick them up at our shop. One TripPak envelope is prepaid each week, all additional will be your expense.

  • Does Bloom perform drug tests?

    We schedule a DOT urine test before orientation. We do not do random drug testing.

  • Does Bloom offer bonuses?

    Yes, you recieve a $1000 bonus if you stay with us for 3 months and get a $1000 referral bonus.

  • Do you cover towing?

    Yes, if there is no evidence of driver negligence.
