How to get started

Your guide to driving for bloom

We offer a stellar rental and lease-purchase program for motivated truckers. We start everyone in the rental program for the first 12 weeks, with the option to enter the lease-purchase program after the first 12 weeks.

Apply for our program

After you apply a recruiter will reach out to you to discuss how you like to run. You can apply by hitting the apply button or by calling the office.

Getting Approved

Once you apply and we have your CDL and Medical, we run the MVR. If everything checks out, we proceed to the next steps.

③

Clearing house & drug tests

Once we have your MVR and check your safety record we send out a clearinghouse authorization request, and schedule drug tests that can be taken in your zip code.

④

Scheduling orientation

Once we have your drug test results, we schedule a time for you to come in for orientation.

Orientation

Orientation is only one day, and you will be in the truck and trailer by the afternoon, with a load that same day. For orientation. You will need to bring your documents, and enough clothing to be out for at least 2 weeks.

Freightliner Cascadia

Freightliner Cascadias come equipped with a ton of standard features. Each Cascadia is equipped with a fridge, an HVAC system that does not require the truck to idle and powerful invertors. In addition to all the other features Freightliners have to offer.

Volvo 860s

We have Volvo 860s available in the lease-purchase program, but only a few available in the rental program. They come equipped with powerful invertors, and HVAC system that doesn't require the truck to idle, & a fridge as well. In addition to everything a Volvo has to offer.

  • How do I apply to Bloom Services?

    You can apply on our website, or call us at 630-504-6126.

  • How much can I earn weekly and annualy?

    You will make $3,000 or more a week after all deductions.  You can make $120,000 to $160,000 a year.

  • What are bloom's driver requirements?

    We have three requirements. We require: 

    - two years of Class A CDL OTR experience

    - you have to be able to go to all 48 states,

    - be able to be on the road for at least three weeks at a time.

  • Does Bloom use forced dispatch?

    It is Educated dispatch. When there are few loads, dispatch will ask where you would like to go. But there are times when experienced dispatchers have to make split second decision to book the load. In that case, you can’t refuse it. If we keep canceling, brokers would put us on do not load list.
